Reflection in Analysis

Reflection in Analysis

A Poem by anaisbelieve

I haven’t cried

Enough for you

The shock is still

Creating rivets

Shot through with

Threads of you

Your laughter,

Your espresso rings,

Your cartographs and

Lines of dictionaries

Oh god,

Your dark head

Bowed as you left

I stare into

A mirror

Not seeing my

Face grow lined

How time defines;

How the fear of

Separation lead

To this

The loneliness

Ripples

The seven years

Back luck.

encompassing emotional fluidity balanced and refined~ perfection in line breaks to enhance the underside of leaning rhythmic parameters~ much enjoyed reading your sharp snap spinerette~
