thaw.

thaw.

A Poem by Jo Schmo

when you’ve been outside all day
in below 0° conditions
and you enter a heated room -
when your whole body is flooded with
tingling and warmth
and there’s the thawing of your nose
and the ringing in your ears -

that is the feeling of your lips on mine
