Such A Wicked World

Such A Wicked World

A Poem by The Anathematic Error

The sun’s arisen for millennia
Shining upon the killings and twisted hysteria
The heads of my brothers and sisters severed
And and platters of their limbs presented
Oh, why they drench blood into the soil
For the profit and the wealth and the oil
The amount of blood spilled cannot be measured
The murderers and rapists do what others do all but consented
The world a perverted and wicked heart
It regrets not of what it has done from the start
It continues to kill and rape and steal
Doing nothing to repair itself
The embodiment of insanity dwells here
No man dares to go against it in fear
For remorse, this world does not feel
It is as if the world was born from the fire of hell

I really enjoyed this poem. It is direct and unashamed. You can feel a lot of human emotion in this one.

Well done,
Yari
