A Poem by Matt DeFranco

If I had everything
I needed,
everything
I wanted
would I still be
inspired to
inspire?

With but a twist
can drop
and force
fire

And everything
goes
even the
basement
where hollow
things rest
and every
misplacement

So I forge my
name into
amenities
granting
every
epitome

And behold
my way is
drawn,
called
from despondent
dawn

Please visit
my certain
quandaries

It's here that
limit's
free
from boundary
free
from minutes
unused
and counting....
