Self-Sustaining Energies

Self-Sustaining Energies

A Poem by Matt DeFranco

There is but truth
that echos
beyond
our affairs

And disposing
love
hence,
unconditional matter

This energy what
truth and love doth
drive
Escorting
hope
of better days
or keeping of thus,
present

And this life
avowed to
all..
...pondering the Sun
That it shines
transcending
sight
yet
nourish in excess

Blind as we may
be to
ever-evolving
truth
and forever
winding
love

In our travails
we are
whole

With these
self-sustaining energies....

I'm in love with your first two stanzas. Perfection. "Blind as we may be to truth, we are whole". Yeah, I agree to that :) Thank you for the read, you're great.

I think you gave me powers (and motivation) simply by reading....thank you. Ha but really thanks for the read.

We are whole.

We all possess those self-sustaining energies and faculties. Some use them and some don't even bother. Others just give up the fight. You have showed us the hidden powers within...Bravo.................
