Waiting for Hope

Waiting for Hope

A Poem by Angel Bluestocking
"

A puzzling description of what I'm feeling right now

"

My heart in hand... Outreached only to you.

A short frame painted full of bliss.

Words bare as a baptised babe.

Numbed and dizzied by feelings.

Emotions overflowing like waterfalls.

Hands blurred and faded,

By sight it is imprinted.

Voice like music, forever played.

Heart like strings, strummed again.

Promises like an Archaeologist's stone,

May be a flock that flew away.

Children chasing things that float.

Like a babe; novice to things.

A vault left insecure.

Detectives search for answers, turn up empty.

Prosecutors met with silence.

Like a puppy in front of the door.

The young mewling for their own.

Shaking hands searching for something lost.

Brain like maze and puddles.

A waterfall held at bay.

Like a desert waiting for the rain.

Like the moon, waiting for the sun to rise.

Like a heart, waiting for its half.

Just waiting for hope...

Author's Note

Angel Bluestocking
I can't fully express what I'm feeling right now. So I can only describe each one in these descriptive sentences that hint a part of what I'm going through.
I'm sorry... There is no structure; no rhythm to this poem.
It's much like emotions.

NOTE:There are mistakes that are there for a reason.
