Wooden Swing

Wooden Swing

A Poem by Starrbitt

red koolade stains
our scribbled names
cover the wooden swing

her tiny purrs
our laughter
pushes the wooden swing

dragonflie smiles
fireflie tiles
surround the wooden swing

lilys in bloom
heart clouds at noon
watch over the wooden swing

birds chirping low
the stream at flow
all speak to the wooden swing

the sharpened saw
cut the tree raw
daddy ruined the wooden swing

my childhood, gone
out my front lawn
i miss my old wooden swing

A very nice poem. I like the good memories. I had four children. Many wood swings were broken. I like the way you described the story and the very good ending. Thank you for the excellent poem.
