Reflected love

Reflected love

A Poem by Anna

I could not see her there

among the colors

of our love

swirling

between

lost hopes

of things that will not be.

She became

lost to me

in layers

of liqued pain.

Tears fell like

stars

from her eyes.

Sorrows of love

never destined to be

reflect rainbow dreams

back at me.

I stand lost in

the colors of us

projected at me,

then turn

and walk away,

from her and

love that was never

meant to be.

leaving it lost

somewhere at the

end of that

rainbow

reflected now only

in her eyes,

never to be

found again.
