Let me be found

Let me be found a fool
in my foolishness His wisdom abounds
Let me be found a mute
in my uncertainty will He fill my mouth with joyful sounds
Let me be found weak
His strength breaks all my bonds
Let me be found broken
in His hands I find my being
Let me be found blind
His light will illuminate my paths
Let me be found a liar
His truth will take root in my heart
Let me be found insane, inane
wretched beyond hope and dead
only then will He be my hope,
the source of my life,
the spring of my joy,
the strength of my heart and comfort
for my soul.

Let me be found in the bosom of my Saviour,
my Lord Jesus Christ.
