Why Is The Light So Dim?

Why Is The Light So Dim?

A Poem by Apathy To Empathy

Why is the light so dim?

Dark and forbidding is this new world,

The door clamped shut,

Barb wires it's companion.

The drapes closed over the floor to ceiling windows,

Oh how the immortality is fierce some,

Beckoning to it's greatest extent.

You with hold me in your arms,

Smugged into drunken lust.

Who else would know

If a mere girl left with none to talk about?

Why is the light so dim?
