Jumping Through Hoops

Jumping Through Hoops

A Poem by Apathy To Empathy

 I'm jumping through the hoops

Wanting to take a break.

Short on breath,

Aching in my joints,

I'm pushed to exhaustion,

I'm pushed to collapse,

And doing so,

I miss the last hoop,

The last one to the exit,

And I'm made,

I am programmed,

To start from the very begging.

 I'm jumping through the hoops

Wanting to take a break.
