Ketled Feelings

Ketled Feelings

A Poem by Apathy To Empathy
"

A teachers comment boiled over, and I could only weep in her shoulder, wanting the other to leave forever. To L.B.

"

High but low

Is the feelings that dwell inside.

Long before the comment was made

They boiled in a ketle

Waiting to steam and cool.

These feelings were cause by you,

And these feelings caused me to break.

I could only hold on

By shedding the tears

That had long suffered.

You held me tightly,

Told me everything would be fine,

Told me that she was no good either.

I nodded and wept,

Ruining your shirt with the tears

That were ruining me.

"I'm just so lost,"

I confessed, a tear hitting your palm.

You held me and said,

"We all are."

High but low

Is the feelings that dwelled inside.

Long before the comment was made

They boiled in a ketle

Waiting to steam and cool.

These feelings were cause by you,

And these feelings caused me to break.
