A Poem by Apathy To Empathy

 It's scary in here.

So many dark secrets

Lay on the pages.

So many dark thoughts

Words, actions, tear drops, and blood

Lay on the pages.

My pen scrolls across the pages,

Effortlessly writing my anger

And depression.

Why does this object

Exist in my life?

Why would it matter anyway?

It's dark and cold in here.

So many lies of the truth

Lay on the pages.

So many heartfelt

Yet aching feelings of lost love

Lays on the pages.

My pen scrolls across the pages,

Effortlessly writing my explanations

Of every reason to my life that is a lie.

Why does this object

Exist in my life?

Why would it matter anyway?
