Ocean Thoughts

Ocean Thoughts

A Poem by Apathy To Empathy

Laping at my feet,
Salty and warm,
Ocean waves tumble about,
Whip cream covering their breaks.
There's a smlie on my lips,
My eyes are dncing
And I'm warm from the sun.
The fiery ball sits above me,
Late afternoon,
And I'm thinking of you.
I squint at the sky,
Baby blue, clear it is,
And I smile at non one.
I don't love you.
I'm just curious
If you're more happier with he than me
Even though there was never an 'us'.
I wonder if she makes you smile
More than I ever did.
I sigh.
Laping at my feet,
Salty and warm,
Ocean waves tumble,
Whip cream covering their breaks.
