Teacher

I was trapped
in the dense glacier,
frozen beneath
the blankets of darkness.
You rose up in the sky,
in your brightest manifestation,
placing your warmth upon me,
and I melted,
to flow as a river.
Again, seasons agitated me.
Sometimes, to such an extent that
every step of mine,
would invite destruction.
But, your presence ensured,
that I glided in peace,
to reach the vast ocean of Knowledge -
my ultimate destination.
