Am I

Am I

A Poem by Chirag Kumar

Lost am I,
in the intriguing webs,
spun by destiny,
to affirm the prophecy.
The imminent desecration,
is nearing my soul,
and it flickers
in haste
with a critical bid
to save the prison of mortal
from a bitter end.

What am I,
in this satanic world.
Puff of angel,
a worthless stranger.
The penultimate beats,
are defeating my grit,
which trembles
in fear,
with a dimming hope
to resurrect me from the dead,
rejoice the last laugh.

Awoken am I,
in life's vicious game,
by your sight,
the saviour light.
The scavenging jaws,
whose vigour is undisputed,
are broken
with force
by my resurgent blood
infused by intense love of you
Survival mode on again.
