I'm Sorry

I'm Sorry

A Poem by Arielle Hill
"

You know when you have friends, and they're such good friends you don't want to mess up the frienship? You wasnt to say yes but you know it has to be a no.

"

A Poem for You

(I'm Sorry)

You said you was scared,

To talk to me,

You saw me walking down the street,

In my tight blue jeans,

Somebody told me that you liked me,

But I didn't know you,

I thought it wasn't true,

Until I saw you,

When you came down the steps,

My heart pounding like crazy,

With your tight cornrows,

My mind is not lazy,

With the moon shining,

We talked all night,

My body beating nervously,

Together we both shine bright,

I knew he was going to ask the question,

It was only a matter of time,

Tense of rushes blowing,

We hanging on a thin line,

A tear ran down my cheek,

When you ask together could we be,

I was wishing I could say yes,

But friend I'm sorry.
