A Poem by Luna

Wrote this for english

From rolling waves massaging the sand
To raging storms, tossing and turning
The bipolar soul of the dark waters.
The cloudy blue-green water lies still,
Not a crease on the surface
Until the lightning crashes and clouds burst,
Letting out the rage of the sky
And awakening the beast in the ocean.

I really like the imagery here but wished it had more verses.....

I have read a lot of your stuff but this is by far by favorite.

A tender and observant piece richly full of life and incredibly beautiful imagery. Very well written. A pleasure to read. Your English tutor must be proud? "From rolling waves massaging the sand To raging storms, tossing and turning The bipolar soul of the dark waters." That's a masterful and beautiful opening to a poem.

Imagery pops out all over this page- washing it up. Great work!

A great write. It has great description which is important in poetry and you paint a picture for the reader. The image is a great painting. Going from calm to storms was a great example of transition which again is hard in poetry. In a nut shell it's a great write. Good Job. ㋡

I am a helpless romantic who also loves to attempt to write romance adventure (my novel Maiden Voyage for example) but I tend to try to stick more to poetry. I am southern (yes, I do have an accent) a.. more..
