The Price to Pay

The Price to Pay

A Poem by Angel Veselinov
"

The price to pay is a touching poem about the choices we made and about what we really are about and can we change the way we do and think about everyday life things. Peace.

"

Before you get, you have to give

before you die, you have to live

before you know, you have to understand

before you sit, you have to stand.

After that you fall asleep,

before you know,

your dreams alone you have to keep

and pretty girl in them you see

I am sorry that she was with me.

But now you see the light for yourself,

I am happy that I didn't help you myself.

Because you wouldn't find this way,

without knowing what is the price to pay.

Never look back over you shoulders

always face your fears in the eyes

Never remember what you have told her,

always believe the the love in the sky.
