A Poem by Anthony Lejarzar

In dreams do we speak, in silence do I weep. How things once were can never be no more. Inside my chest lies a deep hole, within me all that was once happy, searches for what might still be out there. Yearning to be right in all my ways. I call out to you but all you are is a faceless shadow in the abyss of loneliness. Tears come and go as paint falls from the sky. Trapped inside these four walls
sound becomes silence. I crawl on hands and knees surrounded by broken mirrors as my hands get cut by broken glass. Through this world the walls around me turn to purple mush. I see you yells the snake, made of rose petals as the floor opens beneath me. I fall into a world of forget me nots. Lost in the sea of blood. Barely treading water as her hands pull me down fighting to breath life just stops.
