Light at the End of the Tunnel

Light at the End of the Tunnel

A Poem by Ash Hamilton Smith

What will it take for me to see through this darkness?
How long will it take for me to find the light at the end of this tunnel?
I know I've been scared to death that you've been chasing other men, maybe I just need another point of view. And I know I've been going mad because of things I left unsaid, maybe I just need to reach out to you. I overthink every single line, and I know I'll do it a thousand times. I know the best is still yet to come, so until then I guess I'll just keep my feet flat on the ground.
