My Kingdom

My Kingdom

A Poem by Ashley Lytle

If I were a Queen,
I wouldn't be known as mean.
I'd surely dance and sing,
not due to having a King.
I'd rejoice for my nation would be healed
because my Riches wouldn't be concealed.
The People would thrive
as they rejoiced over being alive.
Food would be plentiful
and it'd be quite beautiful.
Individuality would be embraced,
there would be no unnecessary waste,
hate would not belong,
and we'd all live quite long.
If I were a Queen
the scene would be serine.

I must say that at first what got my attention was the lovely title, but I was indeed happy it did, because this is a very enjoyable poem to read, so elegant with such beautiful flow, and the good heart QUEEN a dream to have. Beautifully written, a truly delightful energy for the minds of the readers.
A very well done from me dear!!!

Stay smiling :-)))
