In your arms

In your arms

A Poem by A.Kalashy
"

None

"

Tonight I want to cry in your arms

I want to beg you to understand me

And tell me the answers to my questions

Without me asking any

I want to feel light again

To be able to dance in the air like a bird's feather

How beautiful is that?

It moves calmly down to earth with a fixed rhythm

It tells me how to live my life

How to endure with something that I didn't choose to have

And yet too scared to lose

No that dance isn't futile

It tells me how to live and it crudely mocks my pointless struggle

And I shall not be indignant because I trust that beautiful rhythm

My tears slowly fall down as they allay me again

These tears make me lose my infirm self

Yes my love, hold me still

Although I am only a stranger to your arms

But you are my messiah right now

I am wishing that you sympathise with my pain

And yet I feel selfish for such a ruthless desire

You are here for me at this very moment although I don't see you

And I thank you for this

But I believe you have your own journey to make

And have your own rhythm to uncover

So I open my eyes again and let you free

Intense emotions behind these lines.

Although I am only a stranger to your arms

But you are my messiah right now

I am wishing that you sympathise with my pain

And yet I feel selfish for such a ruthless desire

I am able to relate to these lines.
Your poem has touched me somewhere deep inside.

It is not easy to live with this kind of pain.
Beautiful piece of writing.

very much a personal journey here...

it is written as if the thoughts are
fluttering through your mind,
landing wherever they might,
and when the end comes, it seems
to come with a bit more strength
than when the poem began....

A whirlwind of emotions is portrayed in your poem. Very revealing of your devotion to the one you love.

Good work!

I enjoyed it.
