Rage To The Page

Some things...You just gotta write it off.. :)

I remember when i lost you,

I never wrote,not even a few..

My mind was being crushed from inside,

And I'm not even gonna lie,

I came back home,

turned the music ON and high,

sat there on my bed,

no I would never cry...

Turned the volume so high,

that I can't even listen my mind try,

to think of you,you were just a lie...

"Take that rage,put it on a page,

take the page to the stage,

blow the roof off the place..!"

And the song played on and on and on...

So I took a page,

took my rage,to the page,

And my mind was so engaged !

Relief came to the 'raged' ..

Wrote my mind off on the page,

the things, I've had it rough,

the things I couldn't get off,

From my mind I shut off!

Took the words from my rage,

and with the rage ,raped the page!!

And eased the crave!..

Yeah! I took the rage to the page,

and my mind off the rage!

And that's how i started writing poems! :)
Really would like to read the reviews for this one..
NOTE: Try raping it ;) Sounds better that way! :)
And i think for people who don't like rhymes and raps.. this read might be a little disappointing.. My apologies.. :)
Also it gets kinda like a tongue twister towards the end! ;)

It's from the song "If you could see me now" by "The script"!
I guess you've heard this song or else you surely need to..It's such an inspiring song and this song inspired me to start writing poems and raps!

Before I even got to read the author notes I completely heard this as a rap, which I'm too old to be allowed to like. I heard it as a a kind of spat out rage, kind of like lose yourself in eight mile, where the song only got out because of his determination to prove the doubters wrong.

to think of you,you were just a lie..." Have so been there and done that. It is not a teenage thing btw, I still do that.
You wrote your mind off the page and off the rage perfectly here. Kudos.
