Bang on the pots and pansexuals

Bang on the pots and pansexuals

A Poem by wilting.auburn.roses

Snakes and snails and puppy dog tail

Between your legs does not make you a man

And even if it did, it does not condemn

Me to being with you

What about “pan” do you not understand?

It means that I find love within a woman or a man

Or other; I don’t discriminate based

On gender

Stop giving me a prefix

And simply let me be sexual

“With who” does not concern you

With what extension?

The arms, legs that encircle and twist

But then you mistake

“All applications considered”

With “all applications accepted”

And when your ignorance is called out

You get so offended

But honestly you are too focused on appendages

Or lack thereof

But love

Cannot be defined biologically

And I know this doesn’t fit into your ideology

But how can I stop when every follicle of my skin

Is telling me that it is ok to be with

Them or her or him
