Carousel of mystery

Dramatic as a giraffe with lifts

Walking through snow in the summer

Cold to the touch

Pupils burst into vibrance of a thousand and two peacock feathers

Blown away by the harsh warmth of a July mid-day afternoon

And I wonder

Why I can't sleep
