Why all this greyness in life?

Why must you see grey
In all the world around
I see greens, reds, and shades of blue
So why must you see grey?

In all the lonely hearts
I see lessons learned and fresh love's seeds
So why must you see grey?

Why must you see grey
In the eyes of all the people
I see hope, life, rebirth and renewal
So why must you see grey?

Why must you see grey
In the words upon a page
I see muses dancing through fingers
So why must you see grey?

Grey is growing like no other
But why not try a different color?
