Breathing Dead

Breathing Dead

A Poem by Jordan Warren

I breed them and bleed them
bare eyes and molted tongues
Flying falling diving clawing their
way out
They turn my lungs to catacombs
a maze of nests for the corpses I inhale
Translucent flesh and swollen bodies
live inside my mouth
My breathe smells of iron and
the perfume of decay
Fingers burst forth from my eyes
hungry lonely lust-filled
To drag you down
with me
