The Cascade

The Cascade

A Poem by Rob Luciano
"

Broadie challenged me to write a haiku so I wrote a poem made from Haiku's.

"

Standing on the edge

Not knowing where I should go

The wonder of it

Should I question you

And all your ageless wisdom

Or should I accept

You paint the picture

Perfect within clairvoyance

Beauty beyond truth

Truth beyond limits

Of a limited human

You must be a God

The spring flows for you

Especially in autumn

You hold all secrets

What makes me worthy?

To know all that is on earth

Why should I know now?

Each day I strive more

To cleanse myself untainted

I have yet to win

Do you see in me?

Some strength I have not yet tapped?

Is this the reward?

Do I really want

To see what is beyond this

Or should I sleep more

Rob, man...there are times when a reader should read and state every little thing they liked or disliked about whatever it is that they've chosen to read and f**k off about, one way or another.

And then there are times when the reader has no choice but to shut the f**k up and gawk.

I swear to God, you're onto something here.

I swear to GOD.
