Mine for the taking

Mine for the taking

A Poem by Mucha

The cool, gray-blue river rocks clunk into my pail
Thick, silver-brown silt sticks to my boots
Clear water splashes on my knees
The limitless sky smiles down on me
                                A mockingbird sings my name
                                   I turn and smile
The world is mine for the taking
