About Time

About Time

A Poem by bboooyd

He’ll watch skin peel from your bones

like embers off a fired log.

A fixed stare that sees through who you were

And he’ll move on to the next and still further.

Immune to prayer or pleading

He is witnessed always, with the living

Carrying on without existence of an end

For the end is subjective

and to him nothing is personal

He is present as you’re dying

But not when you’re dead

I take this write literally ...A splendid one...:)

This is very thought provoking... I found it to be an expression of distaste toward someone whom you cannot stand, or feel as if that person ignores the substantial things that are important to the one you love....
It could also be a reflection of your own personal battle within yourself. (you mentioned writing in a journal in your review of my poem)

I enjoyed deciphering this piece... Kept me on my toes.

Nice write bboooyd! Will be reading more. :)
