daylight dreams dancing everywhere
heart-prints glide, almost there
you are a dream i wish to keep

stars upon my pillow

Paint me "breathless"....this Spanish Quintain stunner is literally filled to overflowing with an amazing array of sensational poetic spices: alliteration, metaphor, color, texture, emotional timbre, a,B,a,a,B spot-on rhymes and refrains, even 6/8/8/6/8 meter, vivid imagery, chiffon-light wistfulness, fervid romance, sweet sensuality, ache, longing, dreams to die for, then, wrapped in a virtual waltz of syntactically dictional flow, all epitomize what the art of structured poetry is about ⁓ you name it, it's here; and, beautifully so✨

I could teach a poetry class on this piece alone; title 'n artwork, down to font color ice it perfectly … "keep something dreamy," indeed!

Ya know, Brandy? There are so few who compose in brilliant, unforced, structured poetry anymore, I just couldn't help but shine on you with all these sensations you've just inspired within me.
I actually tried to select a favorite line to highlight, but each and every one picked me, instead.

Who's written a more perfect love poem? I do not know.

i don't know who this was meant for, but i actually thought about lulling a baby to sleep. i have may nieces and nephews and i sometimes babysit. that magical moment of watching a small child sleeping is just priceless. and the poem was written beautifully. i really liked "daylight dreams dancing everywhere," the alliteration really smacked.
i might have misinterpreted it but i nevertheless really enjoyed this poem!
