Wrong

Wrong

A Poem by Nathan Betterman

What is Shame?
How it plagues us so
Makes us feel so
Inadequate, so
Wrong?

What is Guilt?
How it reminds us
And binds us
Pointing to us
Shame?

What is Fear?
How it interferes with
And diminishes us with
Its way to remind us with
Guilt?

What is Weakness?
How it makes fun of
Or takes hold of
Those who are full of
Fear?

What is Wrong?
That which crushes us
Or oppresses us;
Shows us
Weakness?

Shame, Guilt, Fear, Weakness
All are Wrong, All are Wrong.
We are no longer bound by Wrong
But we are free from Wrong
Now we must make Right the Wrong
Else we too become part of the Wrong.

I think that I could make this better, but I've left it at a point where I'm not going to really worry about changing it more, unless people find it interesting enough to inspire me to edit it.

I would not change a thing, it's your original and it speaks the truth. You desribed every emotion one goes through when they do wrong, and you express we have a choice to make our wrong a right and if we don't we sacrifice ourself daily as we carry all these emotionals. Great Right!

Safe Hugs
