Helpless

Burned eyes glisten
Staring straight ahead

Do you listen
Or do you just hear

Adrenaline pumping
Veins popping

How could he ever do that
She is standing right there

Blue eyes stare and glisten
Face flushed

Betrayal and trust diminished
Love lost but never forgotten

weird it just came to me after seeing a friend go through a horrible ordeal
