three shape poemsA Poem by beautifulblade6/13/15I'm hand- cuffed by parentheses and dragging dead weight behind my words, chained to the unspoken until rules are unwritten, and reality unravels like a wool sweater knit with tears.
== == // // // // // // // // In my present, I do my best to forget the past // and focus on the future winding around empty // halls of uncertain terms and crawling through // non-existent clouds of old cigarettes and grief
that choke the air around me. I try to remember that today is a gift from the unknown. I write my words on empty canvas and swan dive into ever swirling paint as I bare my soul as my sacrifice
.I. will fight for my free- dom. In .. darkness, I shall light the way for my ancestors and march on to better days... towards the eastern sun - rise and bright == tomorrows. My // heart shines with poetry and marks the || path through battlegrounds. I bleed my words as a sacrifice for hope.
