Not Satisfied

Not Satisfied

A Poem by Belen Gonzalez

So depressed I don't know what to do,
what to do next I have no clue.
Living my life by what tomorrow brings,
counting the days that pass with strings.
Strings that end up making days,
days becoming months,
months ending in years,
people celebrating New Years with cheers.
But for me it's just one more year that passed,
and im still the same,
I don't know if to feel sad, shame, or who to blame.
My wish is to change who I am,
I guess I'm not satisfied.
Always thinking I did something bad,
not knowing what to do, always sad.
Waiting for the day I escape to be free,
and forever being my true me.

i feel the same way. my look maybe changes but that is because i change it. hair color, piercings. thats is your choice to change. the harder things to change is yourself. because thats your identity, something no matter how much you want to you cannot change. rather get used to and learn to love
