the metal menace

a short poem. free verse. not to be taken seriously.

robots.

some day they’ll take over the world.

everyone with flesh will become obsolete.

menacing metallic teeth will rip apart the world humanity built.

what humanity created, will continue the world with its own creations.

I really do like this alot. Sure, it is short and simple but, for me, it makes the read more fun and gives me a variety of ways to interpret it. The way the poem ends gives the poem a cyclical feel, as if whatever the robots create will do the same to them.

P.S. I hate robots.
