This Is Rain

Howway :) Everyone has ran through the rain when its lashed down and felt like this :')

It pours
It falls
I watch
As it falls from the heavens
Gently
It falls gracefully
I watch it fall from my window
Grey teardrops
That dribble down my window
I leave

I walk outside
Feeling cold air nip at me
Feeling...
Alive...?
This fresh sense
This pelting of droplets
Devouring my thoughts
I run wild
Laughing through this wonderlad of rain
I cry
The tears from the sky masks with my tears from my heart

I sit
I sit in this cold atmosphere
It's shaken me
I am calm
I feel peace
I can smile without the need of force
I see clear
I see puddles with my reflection
I see me
I see me
What do I see?
Who do I see?

Amazing poem! I loved this. I enjoy reading this. Beautifully written. Nice view point of the rain. =) I actually like crying when it's raining. It hides my pain that I don't want the whole world seeing me like that. It feels good too. Sometimes I do feel the rain washes away some of the emotional pain we feel even though, we don't realize/feel that at times. But I think the rain comforts us when we're sad. =) and all we have to do is smile. =]

I always never liked rain, but this poem made me believe that rain CAN have an edge of beauty to it!
