Chains

Chains

A Poem by Cristina Iz

My rhymes aren't stories that are of false idols , hoes , and bread. But of coming up from nothing , a story of life and conquest. Hardship and pain. a story of losing love and trying not to blast out my OWN f*****g brain. thanks to our peoples lame attempts at fitting in and being cool we have regained our chains our whips just not the same chains n whips but equal enough to hold us back. To make us lack the sense we need to proceed. We are owned like slaves my the false words n idols we worship n try to dress alike, No i aint mike and i know they are merely inspirations not my destination so why only rap about what i hear id rather tell the story of what ive seen.
