Locket Heart

Locket Heart

A Poem by Hush Hush

A locket forgotten for centuries,
I never knew the way to open it,
So when it fell,
Fell from my hand
I knew something was wrong,
Please don't make amends,
There's no reason for you to care,
I knew that we were not meant
TO BE,
My feelings cannot be a burden to you,
I will slowly pick the pieces up,
Fragment by fragment,
I've got my superglue,
The process is long,
It will take time for it to be whole once more.
But in the end I will make the melody play again,
'Serce bije Ba-thump ba-thump'
Anew.

A metaphor for a broken heart can be many things, but a locket has to be up there with the best, you wrote it well, this poem is beautiful
