Looking for you

Looking for you

A Poem by blackbelief

I was looking for you
smoky eyes, Clair
as the breeze blew
your wavy black hair,
waist long..
girl with the blue ribbon
danced on the wind
flowed in the sun,
as none had ever seen,
her grace..

gazes meet, heart beats skip,
holding hands, rainy bus stands
memories to miss, that wet kiss
promises of a hundred years,
a thousand tears..
a first fight, scars on the inside.
bitten lips, clenched fists,
fires mend, that road with a fork-end...

I am looking for you
smoky eyes
hide the pain inside
smiles for the world
outside...
girl with the blue ribbon
flowed in the sun
read the letters that you sent
realized I am still stuck at that fork end...

Are you there, too?
