Turn me

Turn me

A Poem by Jamie-Lynn
"

Just a random poem, don't know where I got the inspiration.

"

 Lift me from my sorrow,

turn me to a drop of rain.

Let the angels cry me out,

and try to wash away the pain.

Drown me in my dread,

turn me to a flame.

Ignite me, watch me grow,

and try to burn away the shame.

Lock me in my hate,

turn me to a dying leaf.

Wind catch me on a drift,

and try to rot away the grief.

Ignore me and my cries,

turn me to a tear.

Soaking up the hurt,

and try to clean away the fear.

Suffocate me with my lies,

turn me to a dream.

Chasing away the nightmares,

and try to scare away each scream.

Help me with my life,

turn me to a riverbend.

Watch the water flow,

and try to reach the end.

You brought many emotions to this poem. Each set of lines could stand on their own.
"Lock me in my hate,
turn me to a dying leaf.
Wind catch me on a drift,
and try to rot away the grief."
A amazing poem. Thank you.
