I have suffered much cruelty

These past several years,

You know all about them,

Awaiting for your lectures

I received none,

All I had was your understanding

That I can survive.

 

No words can compare

To the kindness shown,

I count myself blessed

For having a friend like you.

yes it has been a give and take thing all through the years, we have been friends since we were 11 years old and now I am in my forties.

"A friend is someone who knows all that there is to know about you, and they
like you anyway.
