easter sunday

The season of Lent finally come to an end,

Easter Sunday is here,

a time to rejoice and hope

for new beginnings.

 

Children are having a grand time today,

hunting for Easter eggs,

full of candies and treats.

A treasure for them to enjoy.

 

People are praying,

reflecting on hurtful past

to be shoved away

welcoming a new start.

 

This Easter Sunday,

I am praying for two

online friends,

who need inner strength.

 

Drive them away

from temptation of

despair and depression,

rather put the faith in God,

 

who will show the way

to the life of salvation.

Alleluia.
