Putrid "Freedom"

Putrid "Freedom"

A Poem by Blue Jacc
"

Smile why don't you.

"
Same blue Sky
But a red rain covers us all
Cold, worm incubators lay on the streets
Ripped flags, and betrayed hopes

Rounds of rounds upon rounds of rounds
Each one costs more than the last
A baby and a sack of rice is worth the same
In this torn world of ours

Man needs conflict
Conflict needs man
We we're born cursed
Good God, were we born cursed?

Smile you wretched thing, the war hasn't reached you yet
Smile you naive thing, your government tells you the truth
Smile you neglectful thing, lives overseas aren't worth as much
Smile you free thing, your putrid freedom is here
