Writing..one

Times I start putting thoughts in words, thoughts will go fast and easy down a steep road...they seem to enjoy their rolling fast

But the words will not keep at the same pace, and I feel drained of all energy, still lots want to come out

and spill all over ,but the words won’t come so easy..so I resort to a different course

thoughts will say let me be carried on wings of dreams..let only dreamers read me

some of the mind will come out carried by strange different words not all will understand

here I know why some who came before did write things that could not easily be read

they must have walked this same road again and again and at times just could not walk to the end

that’s why for sure most roads were cut short,never one goes right to the end

our mind just will not take it,will not stand it..never is it a complete job

thoughts are so stubborn and when they start there is like no end to their need and greed

and I plead that I bleed and feel drained ,that the words will not carry you all..too much for them

you have to wait and be patient. I could not satisfy you both ..I just wait and watch you argue

each wants to make a point..so I resort to what always will do..use the words which will not be that easy to read

it will look like puzzles..but they will do ,they will bring all thoughts out to their satisfaction

but it will be lame, not all could be read..but at least a job was done even if not to my satisfaction..its writing.....

Oh yes! This carried me along and I was with you all the way - perhaps because I am a dreamer! Your writing captured my attention and captivated me from start to finish and I can still feel the rhythm of the writing inside my head. On a more practical note, trying to get all the thoughts down is indeed a challenge, especially when in an inspirational space, the place of dreams.

This is such a great essay on 'writing'. The imagery was fantastic.....I
could imagine you, pen in hand, pondering what word, phrase or
sentence etc. to choose to make your writing standout from the rest.
Writing IS hard work. Some however, must find it easy as they are so
prolific in output. I, on the otherhand, struggle greatly. Mainly finding the time,
being inspired, trying to quieten my mind to let the right side of my
brain to awaken. Lately I have been very 'left sided' lol, not having
written much lately, but hopefully it will change soon and I can start

yes, sometimes it is like that. I am a coyote, an opportunist about writing. I do it when I can, where I can and about what I can....often it is an unmanagable mess, but I keep doing it. Peace. this was an insightful write. I agree.
