Unbreakable Chains

Unbreakable Chains

A Poem by Sarah-Beth
"

This started as lyrics to a song but ended up as a poem this is about how confusing love can be.

"

I have got a tendancy to wear my heart on my sleeves, when I tell you to stay but I want you to leave.

I am mixed up, muddled up, so confused and when you tell me you love me you light the fuse in my heart

you make it light when its so dark, boy you tear me apart.

And I just want you to know that I hate you much but I love your touch.

The gentleness upon my skin, why do I always lose, I never win in this game that we call love.

Let me loose like a dove, give me a little shove.

See now, I'm free, I can finally breathe.

I've finally broken your unbreakable chains.

This is so romantic and passioniate... the heart bleeds a beautiful serenade here with all the emotions of love's highs and lows. The last few lines were empowering!
