Hollow Soul

Hollow Soul

A Poem by Brandon Mathis

In the darkness I’m left to this dim light

I have been stranded hear

I’m stuck with the cold nights

Trying to escape all of this fear

I have been stranded hear

Lift up my soul so it’s not so hollow

I can’t see things so clear

What have I done to be exiled in this hole?

Lift up my soul so it’s not so hollow

Left in these chains of shame

I used to be the follower

Now there are so many things that I hate

Left in these chains of shame

Save me from myself

I don’t want to rust away

But I guess we all fool our selves

But very good
Your very well written in the art of pouring out your emotions through your text. It just reaches out and wraps around me, pulling me into its web of thoughts and feelings. I have my own interpretations of this and it really is amazing. good work :)
