I can’t help but to fall apart

There’s too much love and hate

Weighing down heavy on my heart

I can’t help but to feel I am the one to blame

Wearing the pain on my sleeve like a scar

Not knowing that forever would tear me away

 

I slip from reality

My life is being dragged to hell

Leaving myself a scar

I begin to cut myself

My skin looks like its melting

Forever I fall apart

Breaking down I surrender my heart

 

Memories erased we will be together

Sooner or later it feels like forever

I still have so many questions

Just like the end of a sentence

They always end with a mark

And forever my heart is full of scars

I read this on a night when recent losses of a similar sort just happen to have me awake late enough to do so...I don't suppose there are any true words of comfort that will alleviate the emotions laid out in this piece, but that are some people out there that will understand, and I am one of them...a great piece of writing...well done.
