Blind Life

Blind Life

A Poem by Brandon Mathis

Don’t hide yourself behind your tears

Don’t be afraid of your fears

As this all becomes clear

Don’t look away from the mirror

Run away just disappear

Wishing that you were still hear

Don’t be afraid

Don’t hide from your pain

Let it burn

Soak it in your bones

Let it all hurt

As your soul you search

To the reason why you’re alone

These emotions won’t go

I’m broke to this hope

Walking through this world as a ghost

Floating through the mist

As the ashes carry me through the wind

You must think your dreams come true

Someone wasn't telling you the truth

Don’t let all this get to you

Or your memories will be permanently abused

Take your life and leave you with nothing to lose

It’s your life go to the path you choose
